Celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions to data privacy in India. This award recognizes a champion who has led with distinction and integrity in protecting personal data.

2. Privacy Squad / Crusaders (Team Award) of 2024

Honouring teams that have collaboratively excelled in driving data privacy initiatives. This award acknowledges groups that have collectively raised the bar in data protection and privacy compliance.

3. Privacy Champion (Organization) of 2024

Recognizing organizations that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to privacy, setting industry benchmarks in data protection practices and building trust with consumers.

*”Privacy Champion” award given to the CEO of an organization is dedicated to the memory of Padma Vibhushan Late Sri Ratan Tata

4. Privacy Advocate of the Year

Acknowledging an individual or group who has been a passionate advocate for privacy rights, playing a critical role in educating, spreading awareness, and shaping privacy laws and regulations in India. 

*The “Privacy Advocate” award is dedicated to the memory of Privacy Pitamaha, Late Justice Sri K.S. Puttaswamy.

5. Privacy Innovator of the Year

Highlighting forward-thinking individuals or organizations who have introduced groundbreaking privacy solutions, tools, or processes, revolutionizing the way data privacy is managed in India.

Indian Data Protection Summit 2024 - Award Nomination Form

Terms and Conditions:

1. Eligibility:

  • Individuals, teams, or organizations that have won any of the above awards in the last three years are not eligible to apply.
  • Evidence to support the nomination is mandatory and must be submitted as part of the application. This may include reports, testimonials, or examples of work that align with the category. Incomplete nominations may not be considered.

2. Judging Process:

  • By submitting a nomination, you agree to our privacy policy as detailed in the nomination form.
  • The award committee and jury’s decision will be final and binding. No appeals or objections will be entertained post-judgment.
  • Nominations will be judged based on the nominee’s alignment with the DPDPA 2023 principles, contribution to Digital Bharat, and the supporting evidence provided.

3. Use of Data:

  • The personal data and images of winners may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to publication on our website, social media channels, and other forums.
  • By submitting this form, you acknowledge and consent to this usage as outlined in our privacy policy.

4. Deadline:

  • All nominations must be submitted by the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.
